I am 26 years old and am a teacher. Growing up, my fondest memories revolve around the companionship of my beloved dog, the joy of riding horses, and the comforting presence of my cat curled up with me as I read. Recently, I moved to Dunedin and had the opportunity to foster a cat, further deepening my connection with animals.
My motivation to be a pet sitter extends beyond personal joy; I see it as a way to contribute to the local community. Building connections and providing compassionate care for pets are at the core of my services.
Having previously lived in Auckland, I gained extensive experience in both dogsitting and housesitting. This background equips me with the skills and responsibility required to ensure the well-being of pets and homes alike. I am dedicated to treating every animal with the same love and attention I would give my own, fostering an environment of trust and happiness for both the pets and their owners.
At this stage I am unable to care for your beautiful pets in my own home. I am available to look after your pets in the morning and evening. I will play with them, follow your requests, and ensure you get a regular update. I am happy to administer medication. Home visits - I am happy to bring in the mail and water plants at your request. House sitting - I can stay from one evening to one week. I will ensure your house is locked up and left as it was. Dog walking - happy to go for as short a walk or long a walk as your doggo needs!
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.

Savannah was thoughtful, kind and gentle when looking after our cats, even though one of them was a bit naughty. Would have her again in a heartbeat. Great communication. A+++.
I've used Pawshake for close to 5 years now, and by far Savannah is the best pet sitter I've ever had. Absolutely amazing communication and I came home to a sparkling clean house. I'm actually sure my cat was a little sad that I came home and she couldn't spend more time with Savannah.
