Katrina

Kia ora! I'm Katrina, and I am on a mission to explore New Zealand while pet-sitting with your furry companions. I usually pet-sit with my partner, Josh.

Both of us have grown up around pets, for pretty much our whole lives. I share my mother's obsession with animals - I grew up with two cats, and spent many holidays on my family farm surrounded by horses and dogs. I have also pet-sat for neighbours, including a 3-month old kitten while living in Spain last year. Josh raised and trained two rescue puppies, and loves dogs of all shapes and sizes.

We hope to have a dog of our own someday, but until we are all-travelled out, this is the next best option. It's a win-win for everyone - we get to explore new parts of New Zealand, and your furry family members get love and companionship while you are away.

We are primarily looking for long-term stays - if your stay is more than a week, I'm happy to reduce the price or pet-sit for free (depending on the pets and distance from my work). Please feel free to send me a message, and we can discuss options. But we are open to short-term stays as well!

Please note that both Josh and I work full-time during the week - I have the option to work-from-home some days during the week, but I generally need to let my boss know in advance. Josh is a contractor, so his work schedule varies.
