About Lauren
Hello, all! My name is Lauren, but you can call me your new pet sitter.
A bit about me: I am a fun and energetic 24-year-old who loves animals with all my heart.
My love for dogs comes from my family dog, Holly. She was a very sweet-natured and friendly Wheaten Terrier, whom I miss very much.
I am motivated to be a pet sitter because my current flat doesn't allow dogs and I miss having a furry friend to play with and love. We do, however, have a ginger cat called Shaggy - but he is very independent and doesn't need much companionship.
I have previous pet-sitting experience looking after my ex-neighbor's two cats: Bosley and Ariana. After many years of observing me giving their cats driveway pats, they asked me if I would be keen to housesit their pets when they went away on holiday. The answer, of course, was yes!
A bit about my services:
Depending on the day, I am available in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings for walks and home visits. My work is flexible, so I am able to make myself free when I need to.
I can feed pets, play games with them, and administer medications if I am shown how to. I am also happy to brush your pets.
For dog walks, I offer 30 minutes - 1 hour. But I am happy to offer longer walks if your pooch is very energetic. I can take them for a walk at a park or beach near your home.
For home visits and house sitting, I work casually a few days a week (I can pick and choose my days/hours) so I would organise this with the owner. I am available all day on weekends also.
I am happy to water plants, take bins in and out, and bring in the mail for your home. I also always wash and put away my own dishes, and bring/cook my own meals.
To keep your home safe I always make sure to shut and lock any windows and lock the doors when I am home and also go out.
