Lynn & Yordi

Hello lovely pet owners,

We are Lynn & Yordi, a couple from the Netherlands in our mid-twenties. We are spending a year in this beautiful country, currently living in the heart of Auckland. Unfortunately, we had to leave our own fluffy best friend at home with his grandmother, so we miss having the joy of a pet here in New Zealand.

We are experienced pet/house-sitters, and would love to be doing this during our time here. We have experience with lots of different pets; dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, horses, farm animals and fish. Lynn is also finishing up her bachelor degree in Animal Management at the moment, so she has a broad knowledge of animal care and health. 

We are very active and love to take your precious pets on adventures. But we also enjoy cuddling at home with them. You can take a look at some of the previous furry friends we have looked after in the photo gallery.

What we have to offer:

- House visits: in/around the city centre of Auckland, during any time of the day or evening, staying as long as needed (taking our availablility into account). We can go on adventurous walks, cuddle at home, clean enclosures, feeding and other general care. Also some light house work or gardening can be done! We are open to specific requests from owners.

- House sitting: we are open to house sitting, for a weekend up to a few weeks. It does not have to be in Auckland, we love to travel and have a car :-) We take very good care of our belongings and of course our pets, and we would do the same for yours. 

- Dog walking: we can pick your dog up in/around the city centre of Auckland. Based on your preferences, we can go for a quick walk in the neighbourhood or go some place where we can explore nature. We are in love with the nature here in New Zealand and we can't wait to see as much as possible. 

- Lynn has a history in medical care for pets, so administering medication is no problem. She can also offer basic dog training and can help with some behavioral issues.
