Hannah

Hi! My name is Hannah, and I'm 19 years old. I'm currently studying in Hamilton and working part-time. I've grown up around a range of pets - from dogs to chickens, and have also spent a fair amount of time with farm animals so if you have any of those that need looking after, I'm your girl! I am just starting out on my own with house/petsitting, but have sitted with my older sister a handful of times. Now that I am branching out, I can provide great references from the families that I am house/petsitting for currently - just let me know and I'll send them on through to you!

I have experience with a range of pets, with a range of ages and needs. I am completely comfortable giving pets any medicine they need, and have a few tricks up my sleeve for getting dogs and cats to take tablets after my own family pet being on heart tablets for a bit over a year! I have most recently looked after an extremely lively 8-month old border collie, another lively young irish setter, a guinea pig, and a couple of cats! I love a good snuggle with a furry friend, as well as a nice walk - whether it be around the block, or driving to a nearby walk like the Kihikihi Domain or Lake Ngaroto. I am also comfortable with different training techniques so if you are needing the training to be continued whilst you're away, no worries!

To give you full transparency, my part-time work has me up at crazy hours so I've usually left the house by 4:15am-4:30am on a Thursday and Friday morning, and 6:15am-6:30am on a Saturday morning. Thursdays are my busy day, where I have class after work so won't be home until 4pm-5pm (sometimes earlier depending on the class). I'm back by 1pm usually on Friday and Saturday unless I have to work late (which doesn't happen often). The pets at my usual housesitting jobs are okay with me being out for that long (and from so early), and depending on their regular feeding schedule, I often will feed them before I leave in the morning and then again in the evening, but give them a treat or little snack to tie them over from being fed so early!

From Sunday - Wednesday I keep regular (non-farming type) hours so no worries there!
