About Ximena
Hi there! I'm Ximena, originally from Mexico City.
What started as a break from studying nutrition turned into an amazing journey of travel and volunteering that's kept me away for over two years now! I've worn many hats along the way—babysitter, housekeeper, bartender, gardener, petsitter, housesitter, painter, spanish teacher and cook—all while exploring countries far and wide.
I’ve done pet sitting in Italy, England, Switzerland and back home in Mexico, with my longest petsitting lasting over a month in beautiful Geneve!
It's been a blast, but I sure do miss my furry companions, my dog Federo and my cat Chia, back in Mexico.
Missing my pets is tough because I absolutely adore animals, and your pet could really brighten my day! I'd love to return the favor and make them happy.
Location and availability:
I'm based in Auckland CBD, 10 min walk to Victoria Park but I'm more than happy to hop on a bus to come to you.
Currently, I work part-time as a bartender, primarily during dinner shifts from 5 PM until late, which leaves my mornings wide open. Additionally, I have Wednesdays and Thursdays off.
My pet care services are available from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or anytime on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
I'm only available for house sitting on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
As for what I can do:
I'm available for dog walking, daily home visits, and house sitting.
Dog Walking: I'm happy to take your dog for a walk, whether they need a 30 min walk or a longer adventure. And don't worry about the size—I've handled everything from tiny pups to big Cane Corso like my own Federo!
Daily home visits and House Sitting: I'll make sure your pet is safe, fed, and entertained. And if you need someone to stay over, I'm your person. Your pets will be well cared for, and I'll even look after your plants!
Since pets aren't allowed in my apartment, I'm unable to provide any services at my residence.
I will make sure to keep your furry ones safe and happy and I can always send you updates (pics and videos) about them.
