About Shiara
I'm a cat mum of three beautifur babes, a CatRescue volunteer, a Registered Nurse at the hospital.
My passion with animals started when I was young.
I find it so easy for me to love and care for the vulnerable/voiceless ones such as our furbabies. I grew up in the Philippines and we always have dogs back then. Most of them gets sick quickly and it hurts not knowing how to help them because of young age. Before I left the Philippines, I got myself 2 golden retrievers+labrador mix and they were the first ones I can call MY babies. I couldn't bring them here in New Zealand, which breaks my heart until now, hence wanting to be a petsitter on my spare time to be able to cuddle dogs if I can.
Having dogs here are more expensive but I want a pet to go home to. Now I have 3 cats, Daisy, Koui and Lily, and they're my only family here in NZ. I love them so much and I would do anything to give them a great life.
I am currently getting my certificate in Animal Care and would likely be finishing by mid year. Despite not having my certificate yet, I am very hands on with my cats. I am learning so much as a furmama. My love for them is undeniable, and it extends to all furbabies out there.
Lastly, I promise that I'm responsible, honest and compassionate.
