I'm Kayleigh, a 24 year old pet-sitter who has recently discovered Pawshake! I currently work full-time in Wellington and am unable to own animals myself 

I was inspired to become a pet-sitter because of my love of pets. I've always had pets and was lucky enough to have trustworthy and experienced friends help with their care while I was away and for them, I do the same. I recently realised that not everyone had the same support system and learned about Pawshake so I wanted to offer my services wider than just my friend group. 

Since I am unable to have pets at my property, I am open to staying with your pet or stopping in to care for your pet as required. Previous services I have offered include feeding, playing/enrichment, walking/exercise, and cleaning their living space but I know all pets are different and need different levels of care, so all arrangements would be bespoke to your pet and their needs - let me know the sort of care needed and I will provide it.

I currently volunteer at a cat shelter and have previously volunteered at the SPCA as well as having owned cats, rabbits, fish, and birds. At the shelter there are over 20 cats to be cared for and fed so I feel comfortable caring for multiple cats and when I last lived with cats we had three as well! 

I have experience dog-sitting smaller breeds for short periods of time (one week max.) and dog-walking as well.
