I'm Alysha, I'm a young(ish) professional living with my partner and baby daughter in Maungaraki, Lower Hutt. I've been around animals all my life - have reared litters of kittens, had several adult kitties and currently am dog-mum to mine and my partners beautiful dogs (who I'm a wee bit obsessed with).

I work full time in Wellington City, but I do work from home quite a bit so definitely let me know if you have a few specific days in mind and I can look at rejigging my timetable for you! Otherwise I’m available before and after work hours. I’ve walked dogs at 6am and am happy to go earlier if that’s what you need. Weekends are also generally all good! I volunteered at the SPCA for two years when I lived near the city and I genuinely love and enjoy being around animals. Let me hang out with your pets and they'll be in fantastic hands!

I have my own transport and I can take your pups to the beach or park, or am more than happy to sit curled up on the couch with a good book if your dogs or cats are more of the relaxed type. I'm happy to take appointments anywhere in Lower Hutt for visits, but will consider going out farther if you require a house-sitter. I am happy to water plants, bring in mail, feed pets, administer medication (my speciality with a fussy staffy!) and clean out litter trays/pick up waste. I am happy to just keep pets company for up to an hour per visit if that’s what you need. I don't have any restrictions for animal size, I love animals of all shapes and sizes! I have experience with bull-breeds and the more energetic types of dogs, so there's no trouble there either.

I'm more than happy to have a meet and greet with yourself and your pet to see how we get along first also. I look forward to meeting you!
