My first best friend was a golden retriever named Oakley. His owner went on business trips once a month, so he'd bring Oakley to visit for a few days. It was during this part of my childhood that I fell in love with caring for animals. My "job" was to walk, feed, play, and pick up after him, but it didn't feel like a job at all. It felt like a holiday. When I moved away to university, I met a woman looking for a dog walker/sitter in the cafe of my barista job. I would walk her golden retriever and black labrador 4 times a week for around 45 minutes. Then, we'd play catch for a bit and I'd feed them dinner. When I moved to New Zealand, one of the biggest drawbacks was having to give up that job. But now I have the oppotunity to care for animals here!
Additionally, I have house sat while caring for the owner's shitzu. I stayed the night for about a week in my previous boss's house, where I fed, walked, and played with little Tuffy until her family returned from vacation.
When it comes to pet sitting, I am flexible on meeting the owner's needs. Walking, running, playing, feeding, and even house sitting are all services I have completed before and am able to provide. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes, including cats, as I have experience working with both small and large dogs. The only service I cannot provide is pet day care. The home I live in does not belong to me so I am not in a position to offer this service.
One day, I intend to get a few dogs and cats of my own, but until then I'm happy to care for those of others' that need a helping hand (or should I say paw?). I'm currently finishing my Bachelor of Science at Purdue University through correspondence, so I have a highly flexible schedule. Let me know if I can be your dog's (or cat's) best friend!

Brittney and her partner house sat for us . She was really easy and lovely to deal with, it’s quite stressful leaving your dog so this makes it easier .
She was good with our dog who I feel is quite needy but she made us feel like she was easy . She even cared to some vomit after my dog vomited while in her care . She kept us updated and checked in when she wanted to ask questions. She left our house nice and tidy on departure
Great service
