Suzie

Hi I'm Suzie, and new to Pawshake, but I have over 3 years of pet sitting experience and can supply references.

A bit about me:

I'm mature, reliable, honest and an avid animal lover 😍

My work history is varied and includes working as an accountant, and in tax administration. I've owned several businesses including a fishing bait and tackle shop. I'm also a qualified beautician. Along the way I raised two beautiful children. At present I'm working part time as a Personal Assistant, which allows me lots of flexibility with my time.

Over the years I've had many pets with whom I've laughed, cried and celebrated with and who have always been there for many milestones.

I was brought up on a dairy farm so there was always an abundance of furry friends to keep me occupied. I had ponies that I would spend hours at a time grooming and riding. I have had many pet dogs that I've raised from pups, some of these being rescue dogs. I have always had an incredible love for all animals but especially cats, dogs and horses.

Since 2022 I've been volunteering part time at Riding for Disabled, a rewarding experience and a win, win situation in my eyes. Because of my volunteer work I have been police checked.

My pets:

Bella is grey, semi long haired and such a cuddly cat, she is 10.

Keke is a tuxedo cat and a real character, he is 9. I have an amazing bond with my fur babies.

My why:

Since moving to Tauranga 6 years ago and now an empty-nester since the beginning of 2023, I need something to fill the void. I dog walk and sit to help fill the gap.

You can rest assured your pets will be well looked after in my care, and with extra cuddles thrown in.
