Hi, I’m Steph and I am an overenthusiastic pet lover!
I was lucky to grow up with pets, and had 2 Rabbits and a Dog – we had a Jack Russell mix who was with us for over 16 years and I had some of my fondest memories with her! She was such an integral part of our family and definitely the baby (read “pampered brat” ) of the house – she had us all wrapped around her finger, or Paw!
My husband, Duane, and I are the kind of couple that cross the road to pat a dog or cuddle a cat! We cannot wait to get very own fur baby some day and grow our little family!
Duane works in Logistics and I am an HR by profession. We decided to sign up on Pawshake as we’re always looking for excuses to be around animals!
Duane and I are go-to-people for our friends and family, to look after their fur or feathered babies and we truly enjoy it. We’ve had experience looking after cats and dogs, bunnies, hamsters, and birds.
A typical visit would include us feeding your pet, ensuring they have enough water, clean litters, interact/play time (and lots of cuddles), going for a walk, and carrying out any specific tasks you have requested for. We are also happy to bring in your mail, open/shut blinds or curtains, turn on/off lights (if required) to make it look like someone is home, etc. We will also send you regular updates on your pets well-being after every visit, including heaps of pics as we know how much you’ll miss your little one!
If you decide to book Duane and me, it would be our pleasure to look after your babies knowing that you trust us enough, to look after your little one (We know how important that is!). We will ensure your pet is safe and sound and well looked after, and treat them like they were a part of our family - just so they don’t feel lonely in your absence. We are flexible and willing to work around any special requirements you may have.
