Hi there, my name is Greta and I’m a 32-year-old woman.

I absolutely adore animals! I currently work as a dog walker in Central and west auckland. I'm looking to extend my services to include pet focused work. I love the idea of personalised home-care for pets and am able to offer that for your family (in there home).

MY BACKGROUND I have several years’ experience in doggy day cares and animal rescue centres. I have volunteered & worked overseas in rescue programmes in Asia and the Pacific region, including managing the SPCA branch in Rarotonga throughout 2018/19. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Psychology, and have worked extensively in both mental health and disability support services. I have a keen community spirit and am eager to build upon this with our city’s animal whānau.

MY SKILLS & SERVICES I hold a full driver license and a clean police record, and can provide current references. I can offer walks around your area or expeditions further afield at the many pet-friendly forests, parks, and beaches that Auckland hold. I can give walks between 45 minutes to an hour and had half or longer max twice daily This is all depending on dogs needs and what the owner would like. I can also do extra enrichment for them as this can be very stimulating.

I would not leave dogs longer then 3 hours in owners homes (would discuss what is best suited with owners)

Giving your pet a thrilling and exciting adventure with the benefit of a structured and tailored experience is my primary focus. Both 1:1 and group sessions are available, as well as support with behaviour training and techniques. I currently work part-time and can supply a live calendar with booking options; morning, afternoon, and overnight sessions are possible pending availability, and can be provided in my own home or yours.
