I am Paul an experienced house and pet sitter.

I am open to dog walking, home visit/pet feeding and housesitting around Wellington. My partner and I have housesat for the last 5 years all over the North Island.  

I have grown up with pets and am a caring person. I have for three years now housesat both cats (including Maine Coon) and dogs (including Huskies), and also have experience handling birds. I petsit as I believe in the good vibes and health benefits you get from having pets around you. I am not able to have pets in my apartment so enjoy being able to look after and care for other people's pets like they were my own. 

Please get in contact regarding your requirements. I am happy to talk through any further requirements including medications your pets are on, their food requirements, exercise and furthermore understand their personalities. I believe in a good catchup first to explore your pet's needs in order to see whether it will be a good match. I treat every pet like it was my own and take pride and satisfaction in getting to know each pet and its owner.

My services: 

Dog walking 

I am available to walk dogs during the day. I walk dogs for at least 30 minutes, near to your house/or in a local park on leash. You dog is left in an area stipulated upon return and secured after the booking. All keys will be returned as instructed.  

Housesitting 

I am available to housesit when required.

I can collect mail, water plants, put out the bins on garbage day. The home will be locked up and secure after the booking. The house will be left in the same condition it was when sitter arrived. Any keys will be returned at the end of the sit.  

I can take care of up to 2 pets. Pets will have space to move around and explore and not in crates for long periods of time. 

· With cats this includes cleaning of the litter tray and spending time with the cat 

· Dogs get at least 30 minutes  of physical exercise. 

· With small pets a full clean of cages will occur if the booking is more than 4 days 

· At least 1 photo update per day 

Home visit/Pet feeding services 

I am available day and night. If you a located in Central Wellington I may be able to do mornings depending on the location.  

The home will be locked up and secured after the booking. Any keys will be returned at the end of the booking. I can collect mail and taking out the garbage (if required). At least 1 photo per visit will be sent to the owner.  

I can take care of up to 3 pets.  

· With cats this includes cleaning of the litter tray and spending time with the cat 

· Time will be spent engaging and playing with the dog(s). Dogs will be brought out to the toilet. Any mess made by the dog will be cleaned up. 

· Small pets a full clean of cages will occur if the booking is more than 4 days 

With all bookings I will: 

· Keep in contact with owners regarding any changes with the pet and if required bringing the pets to the vet when agreed to by the owner or in an emergency 

· Feed the pet as required 

· Provide access to fresh water 

· Dog are able to go to the toilet regularly 

· Basic medication can be administered 

· Pets are kept in a hygienic condition - any messes of the pet are cleaned up, and any signs of illness or injury are reported to the owner
