Grace

Hi my name is Grace and I live in Queenstown and work in Arrowtown. I’m a kiwi and grew up in Southland. I’m responsible, adaptable and very good at following instructions. I have previously taken care of cats, dogs and the occasional chickens. I have always had pets throughout my life and currently Zoe (the black lab cross spaniel pictured) is our wee girl. She’s 9 years old and loves the water and going for walks. There’s something about taking dogs for a walk that brings so much joy to my day! I think it’s because I get to participate in their joy, plus how lucky we are having such a variety of beautiful tracks in the Arrowtown area? With my hours of work I am flexible and can go for walks during the day to make the most of the daylight. I normally walk sawpit gully which is a dog friendly track and it takes 1-2 hours. Otherwise if the dog is older a more gradual walk along the river for an hour. Zoe lives with my parents down south and I can’t have pets in my rental accommodation so I would be genuinely grateful to house/dog/cat/chicken sit whatever animal(s) you may have. I can also take care of your plants when you are away. I know I can’t replace you but letting them stay in their home environment while you’re away is a kind compromise.
