Hi my names Aurora!

I am 24 years old and currently live locally. I have four large dogs, Harvey, Scooby, Shaggy and Colt. You can usually find myself and the dogs at the nearby forests, rivers and mountains.

I am a qualified veterinary nurse with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing from Otago Polytechnic. I have been working locally for the past two years. I'm passionate about animals and providing them with great care. My experience caring for others animals is mainly with companion animals such as dogs and cats but I do have a little bit of experience caring for some exotics. I also have experience caring for larger/farm animals such as chickens, sheep and cows.

The services I am able to offer include dog walking, happy to walk any breed/size of dog and I can walk them in quieter areas/forests/rivers if that is what they prefer. The walk lengths start at 30 minutes but can be tailored depending on what they need. Depending on the day I am available for these most afternoons and some mornings. I can pop in, feed and check on your pets/house a couple of times a day for 30 minutes each visit or longer if need be. I can also combine dog walking and house visits. I can potentially offer overnight stays depending on the dates, just message me to ask.

I am confident in my abilities to care for animals of any age and any demeanour and will happily tailor my care to what your pet requires. I can give your pet any medications they need including oral/injectable. I know what signs to look out for with acute injuries/illnesses and will respond accordingly.

I am happy to service outside of the West Melton area eg. Darfield, Kirwee etc. Depending on how far, there may be additional charges for travel

You will receive MANY photos of your pet in my care and I am happy to collect mail, water plants or any other household tasks that may need doing at no additional costs 😊
