My name is Myrthe (pronounced Meerta). I grew up with lots of animals (with my dad being a vet), and love spending time with them, especially dogs.
My partner Thomas and I work part-time and from home, with very flexible hours. This means we can keep your pet company all day, and we have plenty of time to take your dog out for exercise. Your pets won't be short of cuddles and attention with us looking after them. We're also very active so active dogs are sure to get plenty of long walks, runs or bike rides.
We offer dog boarding and doggie daycare at our property, where your dog will be able to hang out inside with us. We have a fully fenced big yard with lots of grass, so your dog will be able to walk in and out as they please. We live close to Signal Hill, with lots of walking tracks and space for your dog to run around if they have good recall. We're also very close to the beach and love taking dogs there, as a dog on the beach is a happy dog!
Your dog will be taken out at least twice a day, with one walk being at least an hour (if suitable). Dogs will not be left alone for more than an hour with dog boarding or doggie day care. Dog boarding is available from a few hours to multiple days, with a maximum of two dogs at the same time.
We have experience with large dogs, small dogs, difficult dogs and fostering (untrained) dogs. We have been pet sitting for years and can provide references on request. We might be a bit more expensive than other people on Pawshake, but we believe our fees reflect the value of the amazing time your dog will have with us :).

Myrthe and her partner took our lovely dog very short noticed for a day care due to spontaneous appointments. They replied fast and were so sympathetic and accommodating. When we arrived, our dog felt straight "at home" and cuddled with Myrthe and her partner. During the boarding we received updates and photos and left reassured that our dog was happy and well cared for and he was so relaxed when we picked him up.
