I've been a dog lover all my life. Growing up with a Labrador and two schnauzers.

My first job was at a dog grooming store as a teenager where I met all different kinds of pooches. I have also been a dog walker for a couple of dogs in the past and am finally in a position where I want to look after other dog friends.

I live with my husband and we have our own dog called Rue, who is a husky cross and is super energetic. She loves swimming in the local stream (with a side of hunting water rats 🤢). She also loves bush walks and cuddling up to me and my husband on the couch!

At our house we have a huge backyard for your dog to play in, we have the nearby Wainuiomata Dog park that is all enclosed, I also take Rue to Petone beach or the Hutt River a lot (if your dog likes to swim!) We also aren't opposed to having your doggo on the couch for cuddles with us - they'll get plenty of loving!

I would love the opportunity to look after your beloved dogs when you don't have enough time in your day or when you need a holiday. I understand the importance of keeping a dog stimulated and exercised. A tired dog is a happy dog and a happy dog means a happy owner!

If your doggo stays with me:
- Your dog will have a place to stay inside and be walked with my dog Rue each day that they stay.
- I can take up to 1 dog but 2 dogs on negotiation.
- I can administer oral medication with instructions
- I do a daily walk of around 40 minutes to an hour - can do up to two walks a day if your dog needs it!
- Can offer basic training: sit, stay, down etc
- I work from home so your dog will have company the whole day - on weekends, max 3 hrs left at home alone
- Have a fully fenced section with front and side gates
- Can accommodate any sleeping arrangements your dog is used to (eg: crate, it's own room, dog bed etc)
