Hi, I'm Katie! I'm 23 and I have loved animals since I was a little girl. I grew up on a farm and have had all sorts of animals - cats, dogs, horses, calves, rabbits, birds etc. I moved to Hamilton in 2013 to pursue a degree and now I am finishing up a master's degree and working part time in the social service sector. Although I no longer live on the farm, I still have my very precious childhood pony living with me in Hamilton! He is 29 now and enjoys a quiet retirement only a short bike ride away from my house.

Because of my upbringing, animals have always been hugely important in my life and I've always considered our pets to be a big part of the family. I spent many years as a little girl training our sweet golden retriever, Bailey - entering him into any obedience and agility classes I feel like my life is so quiet these days with only one pet around. My horse is very much the center of my world and it always makes me so nervous to go away and leave him in somebody else's care. I definitely understand the need for quality care and would be happy to take care of your furry family when you can't! Feel free to get in touch.

Because I live in a rental, unfortunately, I cannot offer boarding. However, I am happy to come visit your pet in their own environment and can offer additional services such as walking, basic ongoing training etc. I am comfortable with all animals big and small but would prefer if your pet had no aggression issues in the interest of my own health and safety.
