About Neve
I have just finished studying Sports and Exercise Science and Canine Hydrotherapy. I also have my canine first aid and bandaging certificate. I have just started a job at Animal Physio NZ in chch!
I have a family dog: a 7 year old golden retriever called Alice (who lives at home with my mum in timaru), who I trained and have looked after since she became part of the family as a pup! Before I got Alice, I walked dogs such as King Charles spaniels, labradors and cavoodles around my neighbourhood. With my Canine Hydrotherapy course, I have had placement days in Auckland, where I have treated German Shepherds, greyhounds, poodles, dachshunds, schnauzers and a Japanese Spitz and Dogue de Bordeaux so far. These dogs have had various injuries/diseases, such as cruciate injuries, laryngeal paralysis, hip/elbow dysplasia, arthritis and obesity.
My favourite dog breed is the Husky (but I'm also very biased towards retrievers), and also have a huge soft spot for greyhounds.
