Kia ora, I'm Catherine :)

I'm a 32 year old counselling graduate who is making the move back to the beautiful Ōtautahi / Christchurch & looking for house / petsitting opportunities from March 2024 while I settle back into the city.

I'd love the chance to look after your furry friends & / or your home to give you peace of mind while you're away. I grew up with pets (cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, tadpoles) & I have experience house sitting properties in both Auckland & Wellington, with both cats & dogs, over a range of time periods (from a weekend through to 4 months). I have recently completed a contract with a professional pet sitting company in Wellington - this required multiple house visits to 50+ clients over the Christmas & New Year period to care for, cuddle & feed their precious pets. This included cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & fish. Additionally, I have experience medicating cats including distributing liquid & pill medications within food, syringe feeding & administering an asthma inhaler. 

With any house sitting services, all the love & attention required for your pets is included - feeding, medicating, walking, playing, cuddling, poop scooping / litter trays & accident clean ups. I enjoy the process of meeting, bonding & spending time with new animals, they all have such distinct personalities! Additionally, I can be trusted to keep an eye on any plant babies.

I'm a runner who loves exploring, hence my preference for more mature dogs who can accompany me on my outdoor adventures - I can guarantee they'll get enough exercise!
