I absolutely love animals, especially dogs, and cats, and have been around them my whole life. I have volunteered at the SPCA both in Christchurch and in Auckland so I am comfortable with multiple dogs and also with following safety procedures, enrichment exercises, and lots of cuddling to ensure that your dog is the happiest they can be! I am currently fostering cats so I am well aware of attending to animal needs and providing support and comfort. Animal safety and welfare are really important to me, and I have had training with reading dog body language and stress signs, so I am equipped to be proactive to ensure your pet is well looked after and as stress-free as possible.
I think that spending as much time with your pet is absolutely vital, and is something I will aim to do. I am currently a full-time student virtually completing my Law and Arts conjoint majoring in politics and economics. Due to completing my studies online, I am very flexible with time and will be able to work around your timetable and your dog's needs! Therefore I can spend anywhere between 1-9 hours with your dog, depending on your needs, and I can also take longer, shorter, or multiple walks depending on your preference and your dog's needs! I have no preferences in terms of size, age, or gender of your pet. I am also happy to provide enrichment exercises with your dog, (e.g playing with ice, finding treats, newspaper shredding, etc) at no extra cost to you, as this promotes positive development! Finally, I do have a valid police clearance certificate. I look forward to working for you and caring for your pet.
