What do you call someone who will treat your dog to a lovely walk, give them all the affection they need and do any extra jobs that need doing? Me!
I’m a former teacher and am looking to use my new free time to do more things that I love. Number one on the list? Hanging out with dogs!
I’ve never owned my own dog but have looked after many of my friends and family’s whānau members. These dogs have ranged from Corgis to English Mastiffs. I also spent two years volunteering at the SPCA so I’m confident with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I also learnt a lot about dog behaviour while volunteering. My initial degree was in Zoology so I’ve always had a strong animal background.
I'm a mountina bike rider so am pretty fit and am keen for long or short walks, local parks or big adventures. I’d be happy going on walks to the beach, into the bush or just around the block.
Not sure what else to write so I also like tea, board games and watching cricket. My dream is to one day live by a lake with rescue dogs and go paddle boarding a lot.
Hopefully, I’ll hear from you soon. Your dog will be in safe hands and will have a great time. If you have any questions at all just let me know. Thank you for reading this far and all the best for you and your doggos.
