Hello! My name is Isabel kroonenberg and I am a fourth year vet student looking for a side hustle around my placements which involve animals while I'm at home in Auckland over the summer and breaks or during my time at university in Palmerston North over semester times. I will be available to walk dogs or house sit any animal over the year and can work around my lectures to cater for you. I love being around dogs and as I don't have my own I would love to look after and play with your fur babies. My flat also doesn't allow pets so unfortunately I cannot get one of my own while I'm away from my family cat so getting some time with animals would be an amazing de-stress from uni work. I have lots of experience with dogs throughout my life looking after and offering help with animals from a young age around my neighbourhood and especially with my vet courses I have learnt so much more about them especially with behaviours so I believe this would be an amazing opportunity to apply this to give your pet what they need and understand them while being away from the people they love the most. We have covered a lot on dogs and how to properly train them so I believe I would be an ideal candidate for you to consider. I am also able to manage up to 3-4 dogs on leash at one time as long as they get along and are comfortable but prefer to keep them to packs that know each other to avoid unwanted injuries for them! I also absolutely love cats having house sat for cats multiple times for neighbours and have had my cat popcorn since I can remember who I love more than anything in this world. I am reliable and responsible with animals and understand their boundaries as well as their needs so believe I would be able to take care of them in the best of my ability. I have a car so am able to commute there and back as well as go to more exciting places that your dogs may prefer. I would love to be considered to look after your dogs, cats, farm animals or smaller animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats etc.) as it gives me motivation as to why I'm doing my degree!!! I am hard working in everything I do and will always show commitment and respect to my job.
