Kia ora, My name is Kerry-Leigh and I am a full-time chiropractic student. I love animals! I have a small maltese x shih tzu pup named Lunar who has lots of personality. She is well loved and cared for. I would be happy to take Lunar out on walks with your dog if you'd like for them to have some more dog socialising. Otherwise I am happy to just give all my attention to your loving friends.
I'm no longer taking dog-sitting or dog-boarding clients due to moving to a new rental, but am more than happy to do house visits, walks and stay overnight in your home. If it were a long-term stay, I would like for my husband, George, and Lunar, our dog, to be able to join.
For short-term stays I would be happy to look after larger dogs, but if you'd like me to stay longer, then I can only look after smaller dogs to ensure Lunar would be happy. Although, if you have an older big dog who is very chill I'd be happy for them to meet.
I understand that sometimes as pet owners we just need a little support to make life easier and make sure our furry friends are happy and well exercised. I am happy to offer that service! I would be happy to take your dogs on adventures to the beach, or local parks. Each walk will be 45 minutes. Whatever your needs are, I will try my best to accomodate them. I am also happy to just sit and be company for your pets, or play with them. I can help with feeding time and bath-time, and administer oral medication. Each home-visit will be between 45min - 1 hour, which would include walking them if needed. I will also update you with photos and texts to ensure that you feel confident and happy that your dog/s are in good hands. As a dog owner, I understand that they are a part of the family!
