Hi! My name is Olga and I'd love to help you out! I will make sure that your doggo gets all the cuddles, walks, and treats that he/she deserves :) And that you have absolute peace of mind that your fur baby is loved and is in good hands, while you enjoy your time away.

I am very open to last-minute bookings, so please don't hesitate to send a day-before, or even day-of request!

I work from home and offer short- and long-term boarding (or daycare) for your dog at my house. I have a fully-fenced yard for a decent run-around and some fetch time; safe options for on- and off-lead walks in the area, and, of course, cozy indoor accomodation. I live with a confident and very sweet cat Ninja who will keep them company too :) (So your pup would need to be comfortable being around a cat). Ninja and I are excited to spend time with dogs of all shapes and sizes! I am also open to 1-2 day visits at your place for feeds and walks.

I love all animals, and have been an SPCA canine volunteer for over 10 years. I am trained to handle all dogs, big and small, from tiny pups to 80kg mastiffs who think they are lap dogs (and they always do), to those who need special care and attention. Dogs can often feel and act very differently with unfamiliar people; I am used to working with new dogs to develop a trusting bond and will make sure to take the time with your pup to allow them to get to know me at their own pace, so they can feel confident and comfortable.

I had a dog of my own when I lived in the states. Roxy was a vizsla and a *massive* ball of energy (so I certainly have a soft spot for all pointers!) We spent a lot of time on obediene and agility to make sure she was well-exercised and trained. I highly value training and the power of consistency, so on our meet-and-greet I will ask you about your routines, behaviours that you'd like to encourage (and discourage), and will ask you to demonstrate any commands, so I can stay as consistent as possible with your pet.

Personally, I am an active and outdoorsy person - I love my walks and runs, so you can be sure that your doggo will get all the exercise they need. I will taylor the number and timing of walks to your preferences and the needs of your pet. Depending on length of stay, we can also do some beach trips and hikes, and spend time socialising with other dogs, if that's something you'd like.

I am also experienced in giving oral medication, in case that's required.

Other things about me: I have lived in NZ for nearly 11 years and this is my home; I like horse riding, surfing, paddleboardind, rock climbing, tramping, skiing...etc; and I am planning to get a dog of my own soon, but not quite ready for it yet (which is why I am here!)

Things about your dog: They would need to be fully vaccinated, microchipped, house trained, and non-aggressive towards humans and other animals.
