Hello, my name is Masayo. I appreciate you taking the time to read this.

About me

I am 42 years old and I come from Japan. I relocated to New Zealand in 2016 with my Kiwi partner.

I grew up among dogs. When I was six years old, I got my first dog, a shiba named Mimi. She was an extremely clever girl who was also playful. She became a mother, and we had several adorable puppies. After some time Mimi lost her sight, so I took sole care of her for three years before she passed away.

We adopted our first cat in New Zealand after she visited us at to our home every day. We named her Chairo after the colour of her coat and she quickly became part of our family, after we checked whether she was chipped. We made the decision to take her with us when we moved into our new home. I became very close with her and she made my life in New Zealand very special. We lost her in 2021 and I miss her every day. I have wanted to work with cats ever since. Pet sitting really is my dream job. 

I have worked as team leader for a home cleaning company for the last 6 years. I built a good relationship with customers, so they trusted me to be away from home leaving their spare key with me. Customers with pets especially liked the care and consideration I gave for the well being of their pets while I cleaned. 

Home visits : I can do once a day after 4pm and stay for 1hour - 2 hours. During the time, I feed them, clean the litter box, play with them. Also this include watering plants, bringing mail in and taking the bin in/out ect...Just let me know what you need.
