About Ruby
Hi there! I am a 25 year old animal lover working in consulting in the Auckland CBD. I love all pets and am very comfortable looking after them, having grown up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses around me having ridden horses since I was 6 and been the owner of 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 rabbits.
I am available to walk your four legged friends, pet-sit overnight, or drop in to feed them while you are on holiday. I have a car with a large boot so can be flexible when it comes to walking locations around Auckland and am happy to walk your dog in an area that is preferable to you. I can walk your dog for up to 1 hour on weekdays and up to 2 hours on weekends. Some places I enjoy walking my dogs include Bloodworth Park, Auckland Domain, Orakei Basin, and Madills Farm. Petsitting and home visits can include feeding your pet, taking them for walk, playing with them, continuing with any training, and cleaning up after them. If petsitting or doing home visits I am happy to do small household chores, such as watering plants and bringing in mail, and will be very careful when it comes to the security of your home.
I'm comfortable with pets of all sizes and am confident in my ability to recognise their needs and make them feel at home. Since going flatting I've missed seeing my family pets daily and would love the chance to spend time with other people's animals so please get in touch if you need a hand!
