Hi, Im Monique. 26 year old with a passion for animals and their welfare. I have signed up to pet sit to help pay some bills with my spare time, and I also love meeting new animals and their guardians. I have my own dog, Crash the border collie, and have grown up with cats my whole life. All my pets have meant the world to me and I know how hard and stressful it can be to put trust into someone to watch your pets while you are away.

Experience

I have had an interest in animals all my life, and particularly love cats and dogs, but all animals are amazing creatures and their comfort and happiness is of the utmost importance to me. I have owned many cats and Crash is my first dog. I have volunteered at the SPCA for a number of years with both the cats and dogs, with the adoptable ones and the incoming animals so have had experience with many different personalities and energy levels. I also foster shelter cats, and understand the stress animals go through when their world changes. I have done all the dirty jobs and have no issues with the not so desirable part of pet ownership. I have a love for training my dog fun tricks and basic obedience, and so can include some of this with your pet. All animals enjoy a bit of reward based training, not just dogs!

What to expect

I will treat your pet as special as my own, allowed anywhere (unless you want boundries set, then they will be adhered to) in a safe manner, and treated as royalty. If you are looking for boarding, currently I am only taking cats and small animals until I can get another dog crate for you pet to have their own area in our house that my dog will not bother them in.
