I'm that person that will stop you mid conversation because I see a dog nearby!

I was never a big fan of the zoo, I think animals should run free but I did go to the local zoo once to check it out - it was a weird experience, not quite what I expected as there was only one animal and it was a dog.... it was a shit zhu..... :-D

I'm Niamh (pronounced neeeeve!), I'm 29 and from Ireland. I live in a house in grey lynn with the most noble creature, my mate badger - he's a collie/blue healer and he's just great! I pretty much moved in here solely to live with Badger (the friendly flatmates were a bonus), I can't have a dog of my own at the moment as I've got some travel plans for next year and wouldn't be able to leave a little furry friend behind. Our garden is pretty small but we live in very close proximity of western springs and grey lynn park so plenty of places for doggies to stretch their legs. I'm a pretty active person and enjoy bringing dogs out for long walks to parks and beaches. Even though I have Badger at home, I'm still happy to look after other people's dogs as well - Badger is pretty chilled out and good with other dogs and we often have friends dogs call over to visit and play.

I do work Monday - Friday so I can be available evenings and weekends.

I've always had dogs in my life, my childhood pet lived to the prime age of 15. She was my best friend and I still miss her millions! I love being around dogs of all shapes and sizes, it brings me joys and would be happy to look after your furry friend for you!
