Hi! I'm Alex. I'm a 26 year old based in Massey (West Auckland) with a vet nursing diploma and a particular penchant for cats and birds. There is absolutely nothing I love more than taking care of pets, and that even includes the less glamorous aspects of the job.

I'm happy to come visit your fur or feather babies while you're away and give them all the love, attention, and care they need, regardless of how "difficult" they may be considered. Patience and kindness is the single most important aspect for me in looking after an animal. I've have a personal passion for caring for elderly and sick cats, giving them all the medication and creature comforts they need. I've also provided high quality end of life palliative care for pets.

The services I currently provide are:

Home visits (for cats, birds, and other small/exotic pets only): I will visit your home up to two times a day to provide care for your pet. Each visit generally takes 30 minutes, but will be tailored to your pet’s needs.

Pet sitting (for cats, birds, and other small/exotic pets only): I will stay in your home for the duration of the time you are away to provide 24 hour care for your pet.

I am available for home visits on a flexible schedule, and can provide pet sitting for up to 1 week at a time. The services I provide will be tailored to your pet, but will generally involve feeding, playtime, pet cleanup, administering medication if needed, and spending lots of quality time with your beloved fur babies.

If you live outside of these areas it is sometimes possible for me to work out a plan with you - but please note that I travel by public transport, so you'll need to be on a good bus route.

Please also note that I'm not currently available for long term bookings, dog sitting or home visits, or dog walking.
