Hello! I'm Emily and I am excited to support you in looking after your pets! I am originally from Wellington, however, am currently studying in the healthcare field in Auckland. In my spare time, I enjoy immersing myself in the outdoors - hiking, biking, and beach swims!

I love animals and especially love putting a smile on their face (you must know the cheeky grin that your pet gives!). I feel lucky to have grown up with pets - dogs, cats, a rabbit and fish - and because of this, have grown to appreciate both the responsibility and love that comes with looking a pet.

Since moving away from Wellington 6 years ago, I have not owned a pet myself, but enjoy house sitting, dog walking, and pet feeding for friends and family. I look forward to looking after your pets just as I would my own - with a lot of love, alongside safety and responsibility. Looking after a pet includes meeting their basic needs - food, water, exercise, shelter - AND also going above and beyond to make their day as happy as possible.

AVAILABILITY:

As I study full-time, I am free in the weekday early mornings and evenings, as well as on weekends. On weeks where my placement hours are reduced, I will have increased availability to support you - check out my Pawshake calendar or message me if you have any questions!

I am mainly based on the North Shore, but also have capacity to support areas including Ellerslie, Greenlane, Remuera, Epsom, Newmarket and Mt Eden. If you live outside of these suburbs, feel free to contact me and I will do my best to help you!

SERVICES:

Home visits: check in on your pet's food, water and litter box (if applicable), with time for play, cuddles, and an opportunity to stretch their legs (dogs - if there is an appropriate back yard).

Walks: length and destination dependent on your preferences and your dog's needs. Approximately 30min - 1 hour (negotiable).

House sitting: looking after your pet while you are away! Includes lots of play, cuddles, and an evening/morning walk as required.
