About Alex
Hello! My name is Alex, I'm 30 and have grown up with dogs and cats for all of my 30 years! I was inspired to join Pawshake after seeing a lot of people needing help or last minute care for their fur babies over the holiday period. I am lucky enough to have people I trust when I leave my own and understand how important it is to know your pets needs are not only looked after but that they are also receiving enough pats and attention! I am trustworthy and have my own reliable transport and am happy to supply my MOJ police check, which I have renewed recently in August 2023.
I am self employed, running two businesses and nannying which allows me to have very flexible hours. I can fit care for your pets in at multiple times during the day to best suit their routine and continue what are familiar meal times etc to them. I am available 7 days per week.
I can provide home visits/dog walking on the North Shore and am happy to travel to Auckland Central CBD areas (parking must be provided/reimbursed if not in a residential area) and some areas of West Auckland where I have existing clients. I will consider pet sitting outside of these areas for an additional cost.
Happy to change water, litter, turn off lights, water plants, open/close curtains etc as required. I also love getting picture and video updates of my pets when I am away and am happy to provide these for you too!

Roxy was very taken with Alex at her meet and greet. Alex was very prompt on arrival and settled Roxy as we left. She sent daily updates and photos and Roxy seemed very happy and very well looked after on our return. Alex kept the home very clean and neat and tidy. We will happily use Alex on our next trip away.
