About Haruka

Hello everyone,

my name is Haruka and I am looking for house sitting jobs in Auckland, preferably in the lower North Shore area :)

I would not be able to house sit in locations outside of North Shore (i.e., south of harbour bridge), as it would take too long for me to commute to my workplace.

I am a 23-year-old female, who is currently studying at AUT North Campus. I also work part-time in the North Shore.

I am half Japanese / half NZ European. My first language is Japanese, but I have been living in NZ for more than 10 years now and can communicate in English with no problem!

I love animals, so I would be more than happy to look after them. I used to have a pet shitzu (small dog), and I really love cats as well :)

I am a non-smoker.

I have started house/pet sitting from 2022, and have looked after many pets (majority of them being cats) 🐱

I am available to look after your pets at your place while you are away (i.e., house sitting) :)

I am quite petite myself, so I am not too confident with looking after larger-sized dogs, but I am familiar with small~medium sized dogs :)

I would be able to house sit from a few days up to 2 weeks maximum (depending on my schedule). I will try my best to keep my availability calender up to date :)

As my University is located in Northcote, I would not be able to house sit anywhere too far or with poor public transport access to my University. Therefore, I would prefer the location to be somewhere in the lower North Shore area :)

I would be able to water your plants, check the mails, walk your dog (small~medium sized), and send photo updates of your pets if needed during the house sitting as well :)
