Clare

My name is Clare, I work from home here in Kinloch. My husband and I have a passion for rescuing animals, particularly old ones or those with issues as they are so often overlooked. Over the years we have had 11 cats and dogs!

In November 2023, we lost our old dog Mack who was my wee fur soul mate. We lost our other dog Coffee (who was mad as box of frogs) in March 2022, so we don't have a dog at the moment and I'm finding the house a bit empty. Our two beautiful cats, Oreo (mama) and Inky (daughter) are really making a great effort to fill the void though!

I have a lot of experience with animals, young and old and I love meeting new pets. I'm super excited to be pet sitting as I can help others and get my doggo cuddles while we don't have one! We have such beautiful walks in the Kinloch area and I really enjoy getting out and exploring with a four-legged friend! Having had older animals, i'm very comfortable giving medications if needed and happy to do anything else needed for the comfort of a pet.

For doggy daycare at my home, the dogs will need to be comfortable with cats and happy being indoors as our garden isn't fully fenced. I also have a 4yr old girl who has grown up around dogs. She goes to daycare full time during the week, so not likely to be around during most doggy daycare sessions, but would be around and happy to play on weekends. My husband is also a huge dog lover, but works full time so not likely to be around during weekday sits.

I work from home, so your pupper will hang out with me in my office and the house and go for as many walks as they/you like. I live a short walk from the lake, so I can also take them for a swim! At this stage I am not offering overnight boarding, but can be discussed after a few daycare sessions to make sure they are comfortable with the cats, kid and husband :)
