Earlier this year I moved to Karaka from the North Shore along with my 20 year old cat Spike, who sadly has now passed away.

Spike required daily oral medications and lots of extra care so I am comfortable giving meds and understand the health needs that older cats can have. I'm happy to prep special food if needed, keep litter trays clean and of course spend time during each visit getting to know your cat/s.

Over the years I have owned several cats, along with rabbits and guinea pigs and always used a pet sitting service when holidaying. I found my cats were happier to stay at home where they felt safe in their own environment. And with daily pet-sitter visits for feeding and text updates it meant I could relax and enjoy my holidays knowing they were in good hands.

So I do understand how important it is to know that your pet is being cared for as you would care for it. You can be confident that I would take good care of your cat/s while you're away. 

I work 3 days/wk (Mon-Wed) locally so would be able to visit your home morning or late afternoon on these days and can be flexible the other days. Will be available over the Christmas and New Year periods.

While I no longer have my own cat I've been feeding the neighbour's two cats and a small flock of chickens when they go away. I've absolutely fallen for chickens... so much personality.
