Hi neighbours!

My name is Sarah Morrison and I've been based in Wanaka for the last year. I spend most of my free time hiking, climbing, and being in the outdoors... so will be very happy to take your dog for lots of walks, as well as giving them lots of cuddles!

I have experience both pet and house sitting for extended stays, looking after dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. As I am currently flatting I'm unable to have a pet of my own, but after growing up with cats and dogs I miss being around animals and would love to be trusted to look after yours!

When caring for your pets I always take care to follow any rules laid out by you. I am happy to be strict - for example with food or getting on furniture - but equally an happy to look after a spoilt pup who wants to sleep on the bed! Whether it's dietary preferences or special exercise routines, I take the time to understand your dog's individual requirements and provide them with the personalized care they deserve. I understand leaving your pets on holiday can be hard, and I'm here to make that easier for you in anyway including daily updates and photos!

I am available for dog walking, drop in visits at your home, and also pet sitting at your home. I am happy to discuss your expectations around house sitting (e.g. staying overnight in your home or multiple pop-ins/walks). Unfortunately, I am currently unable to take pets into my home due to renting restrictions, but I am happy to drive to you!

For in house sits I am very clean and tidy, and will make sure that you're coming back to a well looked after home. I can complete any house tasks that need doing whilst you are away e.g. water plants, garden care, sorting bins, collecting mail, stocking the fridge for your return.

I have a masters in psychology and work remotely as a counsellor via zoom. This means I'm very flexible in my schedule and able to pop around multiple times in a day to look after your pets or be with them 24/7 in a house sit to give your pets plenty of company and care.
