Ellie

Hello! My name is Ellie. I'm 30, and from England, but love travelling around, using all the work visas I can. 

I'm looking for dog and/or cat sitting positions, at the pets home. I am in Te Puke until mid May, and have a vehicle, so able to travel to the surroundings areas. My dates are flexible so get in touch if you're looking for a dog sitter!

In terms of my experience, I worked as a professional dog walker and dog/cat sitter in Canada between 2019 and 2021. I can administer medication, and I have a dog CPR certificate. I've volunteered through a website called 'workaway' where on multiple occasions I've house and pet sat for a range of animals (dogs, cats, alpacas, chickens), and helped at animal sanctuaries too (I had a rescue lamb named after me 🥲).

I can't have a pet of my own right now, so caring for others pets fills that void and brings me so much joy. I enjoy giving them dogs plenty of walks and activities to keep them entertaining and loved.

I've done a number of recent dog sits here in NZ, so can provide references if necessary.
