Hi Pawrents, does your pet get stressed in a kennel or cattery environment? Perhaps you own a lifestyle block and want a holiday or weekend getaway. Having someone come and stay in your home can make your pet feel more relaxed and safe while you're away. I'd love to be your house sitter!
I have a huge passion for animals, I'm reliable and trustworthy, and will look after your pet with the upmost care and attention. I have good communication skills, can follow instructions, and will send you lots of photos along with updates every day. Daily walks, play and enrichment activites guaranteed.
During the week I work full time as an experienced dog handler in a doggy daycare. I dogsit for some of our clients in their homes regularly.
I have been pet feeding and house sitting for over 5 years and thoroughly enjoy it. I'm confident with: dogs, cats, birds, small pets, fish, and livestock.
Animals are a big interest of mine, I have a Certificate in Animal Management - Canine Behavior and Training from Unitec. This course had a main focus on dogs but also covered all companion animals, livestock, and small animals like rabbits, ducks, fish, reptiles etc.
If your pet has any special needs or medications I can accomodate those. I know how to administer most medications and can do injections if shown how. I know basic pet first aid and want to do a full pet first aid course along with more animal based courses to upskill myself.
My house is not dog friendly so I am currently only providing house sitting for all pets. Rest assured your furbaby and home will in good hands. I can bring in mail and water plants as required. Your house will be clean and tidy upon your return.
I have dog grooming training and experience. As I'm not currently working as a groomer I am not including that as a service. I can bath, brush, and do nails on request.
I have a clean police record and can provide excellent references. I'm happy to provide a police check upon request. I am smoke and drug free.
