About Aimee
Hi! I'm Aimee and I've loved animals my whole life. We currently have two cats, Jake the girl and Belle (both rescue cats) and two guinea pigs, Messi and Mossy, (both rescue guineas). Our mother and son Fox Terrier Jack Russell duo, Sammie and Joey, died of old age a few years ago after living long and happy lives, both of them making it to 17 years old respectively! I'm really missing having doggos around and can often be found chatting through the fence to our lovely black labrador neighbour, Frank. I have a lot of experience with domestic and farm animals and I studied Veterinary Nursing for over 18 months before needing to leave study to work. I love living on the Kapiti Coast with my husband and our four sons ages 11, 9, 5 and 3. Being a stay at home Mum for 11 years has been amazing, and now that our youngest is at kindy, I have time for an animal companion job that would bring me a lot of joy! I'm an outdoorsy girl, rain or shine, and would love to take your best friend for a walk around the neighbourhood! I'm happy to discuss options to suit and can feed cats or other small animals while you're away.
Services I provide:
Dog walking: Walk with a lead at a pace that suits your dog around your dogs local area, the beach if they want to! $19 for half an hour for one dog and $10 for each subsequent dog up to 3 dogs, $28 for an hour long walk for 1 dog and $15 for each subsequent dog up to 3 dogs.
Pet/plant feeding while you're away: Small animals such as fish, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, mice/rats and chickens, hanging out with them in your home for chats and company for no less than half an hour. I'm happy to water plants too and collect mail, general check of security of the property. $23 per half hour visit. Options for longer visits or multiple visits in one day available upon request.
Companion visits: Some older dogs/injured dogs can't walk far, but still get lonely while you're at work. I can visit, play, let them out for business and a sniff and have a good chat and cuddle to keep them company. $23 for half an hour, $29 for an hour.
Most evenings upon request for pet feeding/companion visits.
Available in the Raumati and Raumati South communities.
