Hi there fellow pet owners!

I just recently came across Pawshake, and what a great idea to get other animal lovers to look after your beloved pets in a homely setting. As a pet owner, I understand the stress that comes with needing to find someone to mind your furry friend. So as a pet owner, and an animal lover, I've decided to register myself as a pet minder on here. I've grown up with pets all my life, and I love animals to bits!

I'm a 37 year old mature and responsible pet owner and my best friend is Blue, who is a six year old heading dog (see pics). I've had various other pets throughout my life and have spend plenty of time in and around farms and lifestyle blocks, so I have heaps of experience with animals. I do work full-time Monday to Friday, so my services need to work around work. I live by myself, and have no kids so I am very flexible.

What I offer:

- Dog walking. These are limited to afternoons only (4pm onwards) during Monday to Friday, and they will be with myself and Blue. During the weekend I'm free for walking your dog any time you would like. These mentioned walks will be at least one hour long.

- Pet minding at your house. Cats, dogs, birds, chickens etc ok. I will need to be able to bring Blue with me if staying overnight at your house. Blue is a quiet and very well-trained boy, so won't cause any issues at your property. He's fine with all other animals (cats, chickens, rabbits etc.). He has zero prey drive, and is more like an oversized lap dog. Plus, at six-years old, he is settling into the quieter and more relaxed phase of his life. If minding dogs during Monday to Friday, they will get a 30 minute walk in the morning before I go to work, as well as a one hour walk after work. Pets need to be ok with being home alone during the day while I'm at work between Monday to Friday. During the weekend I will be around more, and they will get two one hour walks a day.

- Pet visits/feeding, up to twice a day. Depending on your needs will determine how long a visit lasts. I can offer two visits a day. During Monday to Friday, one 30 mintue visit in the morning before I go to work, and up to an hour long visit in the afternoon. During the weekend, I can commit to two one-hour visits a day if need be. We can discuss your specific needs and come to an agreement as to how many visits and their duration should you need this service.

I also have some experience with horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, rats, hamsters, birds, fish and birds so can help out in those areas too if need be.
