I have been passionate about animals since a very young age. I had all kinds of pets growing up, and in recent years have fostered over 50 animals. I currently have an indoor only special needs 8 month old kitten called Bobby, who lokes to go on walks in a pet pram! I’d love to get to know your pets, their individual personalities, likes and dislikes, become a trusted friend to them and find some fun ways to brighten up their lives a little! 

I have almost 5 years of full time animal care experience working in animal rescue/welfare. My experience includes cats, dogs and all kinds of small animals. I have a particular interest and passion for animal enrichment, which is all the little things we can do to keep our animals happy, healthy and entertained! I am constantly researching and making up fun new ways to entertain animals! 

I have training, as well as years of hands-on experience with animal care, physical + mental health, fear free and stress reduction techniques, vet nursing skills and animal behaviour. I have extensive experience taking care of sick or injured animals, administering medications, vaccinations, microchipping, flea/worm treatments and grooming. 

I have experience with cats from newborn kittens to elderly cats. I have a particular passion for working with timid/shy cats/kittens and find it very rewarding to socialise them and see them slowly warm up to me. I always aim to interact with all animals at their own comfort level and work with them to keep them happy and comfortable. 

I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, energy levels, and with all kinds of canine behaviour, including behavioural problems and puppy behaviour. I have been on many dog walks with rescue dogs, including trips to beaches, rivers etc. I have experience in training techniques, with my favourite method being clicker training. (I have trained my kitten Bobby to do tricks, the latest being jumping through a hoop).

I also have lots of experience caring for small animals, including mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, and other various animals such as ducks, chickens, lambs, horses and goats!

I’ve done a lot of pet photography over the years and especially love taking gorgeous photos of rescue animals to help them get adopted! I love to send update photos or videos of animals I am working or staying with for their family to see how they are doing.

My Services:

Dog Walking - taking your dog or dogs on a walk that matches their activity & energy levels, anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. Walks can be for exercise, or enrichment, and I can personalise the walk depending on which they need more! Exercise walks are more active, whereas enrichment walks are more focused on providing them with different interesting places, smells, activities etc. I am also happy to provide play time, enrichment activities or basic training in your own yard if preferred, or take them on fun trips to the river or dog parks.

Home Visits - Can be for up to an hour, depending on what each animal needs! I am happy to provide company and care for all pets to make sure they have everything they need, including feeding, letting out for toileting (or cleaning litter boxes), administering medications, filling up water bowls and fixing bedding. I am also happy to provide play, pets and cuddles, basic grooming, or other things your pet needs or you think would brighten their day.
