Renee

 Hi Team! 

My name is Renee, I am a 29-year-old, third year vet student at Massey University. I immigrated
from South Africa when I was 20 years old and have worked with animals ever
since. I am married to a wonderful kiwi man who lives in Hawke's Bay and spend my holidays in Hawke's Bay on the family farm. Growing up we always had plenty of pets and so the love for all animals
continued to blossom.  

My experience with animals ranges from personally owned pets to working with all
kinds of animals since I arrived here in New Zealand.  

- I worked at a petting zoo prior to starting my BVSc degree, having the amazing
opportunity to learn about crucial husbandry and handling skills with goats,
pigs, deer, emus and all other farmable animals. I have plenty experience in looking after rabbits, Guinea pigs, chickens and many more.

- I have ridden horses my whole life and own two of my own. I worked at a stud farm
in the past, which has allowed me to gain experience in handling youngsters.  

- I volunteered at the Massey Desexing clinic for two years and currently board in
a flat that has three cats and a gorgeous border collie.  

Services

I am available to house sit in the Palmerston North area and happy to accommodate
the owners as long as they need. I can do house visits once/ twice daily
and ensure that pets are happy and have enough water/ food. Unfortunately,
I am unable to accommodate pets in my current boarding situation. 

I can run errands, put rubbish out, water plants, collect mail and any other basic house chores. 

I understand that being away from your fur baby can be quite stressful and I am
happy to give regular updates, videos or photos while you are away. I have plenty
of love to give and a huge passion for animals and look forward to meeting your
pets.
