What has motivated me to be a pet sitter is my own pets. I have a dog and a cat, also 3 chickens and 3 sheep. I only consider the dog and cat actual 'pets' but of course the sheep and chickens also need some care.
As a pet owner and also someone who likes to travel I appreciate the difficulties in doing so when one has beloved pets. Peace of mind around knowing that my pets are in safe caring hands is very valuable to me.
I am a Naturopath and prefer natural medicines for my animals as well as people. My daughter is also a pet lover to the degree that she has grown up and become a Vet nurse. I now consult her as well if there are any issues with my animals and I would do the same for yours - keeping you fully informed and with your consent of course should any issues arise while you're away. Whilst being semi retired now I'm also a registered Teacher (both primary and Early childhood). Children and animals seem to like me and I consider them all good judges of character.
I've had pets all my life - more cats than dogs. (That's I was a child and I'm now in my 60's)
I don't descriminate around vaccination status.
I'm more interested in visiting your pets in your home than in taking them into mine although individual circumstances would determine that as a possibility.
I'm a very responsible and reliable person with decent communication skills. Your beloved pets would be well cared for and safe with me.
