Kia Ora!

My name is Lucy, and I would love the opportunity to keep an eye on your furry four-legged friends - or even your feathered ones! I have recently moved back up to the Tasman region from my home in Christchurch, and I am desperately missing my family's dog and cat. So, animal cuddles for me + the relief of knowing your pets are being looked after seems like a pretty good combo, right? I am able to be flexible due to my remote job during the day, so flick me a message and I'm sure we can sort something out. I am unable to host pets at my home, however would be more than happy to housesit in the Tasman area, and I am able to pop in for visits & walks in Mapua and nearby.

I have previous volunteer experience with the SPCA in the feline socialisation team, as well as my prior work experience as a kennel assistant at BARK (prev Bunny Lodge) in Christchurch. My experience has equipped me with invaluable insights into the unique needs and quirks of various breeds, and I was so grateful to be able to harness my passion for animals during these jobs. I have experience with both social and anti-social dogs of all sizes - from tiny to giant! I understand the importance of building a relationship with pets, and strive to ensure all pets I care for trust me and feel calm and comfortable with me.
