As an animal lover growing up and having all the pets from tortoises and fish to cats and dogs, I decided to study Zoology at University. I loved it so much I even went on to do my masters. Following that, I worked as an animal care assistant in a veterinary practice, volunteered in puppy training classes and currently work for the SPCA as a Foster Coordinator. As my role is only part-time, I'm looking for some extra-time working with animals and to fill the void of a pet-less house due to my landlord not allowing me to have any pets!
I have lots of exeperience over the past 10 years of dog sititng/walking/training; from spaniels and Shih Tzu's to x-airport sniffer beagles and staffy crosses, to energetic saluki's and collies! I also have experience with cat sitting, from 5 day cat sits in London to 3 week cat & dog sits in Christchurch.
I am happy to provide up to my 5 most recent cat and dog sit references so you can get a sense of who I am and my caring work with their beloved fur babies.
I am caring, organised and a good communicator and can provide you with regular dog walking services, house drop ins and short-longer pet sits. Whether you need just a little helping hand weekly or someone to take good care of your babies whilst you are away, I am more than happy to help and treat them like they were my own.
Dog walking services: from short walks to long day hikes, paddle-boarding and sea-swimming if you have a water-loving pup!
Promise to send daily updates and great pictures of your fur baby having a wonderful time!
I have my own transport and a current police check (conducted by the SPCA).
I look forward to hearing from you :)
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Very patient and supportive with our pet. Thank you!
Maia was absolutely brilliant in every way which made her a perfect choice to walk Gus. Highly recommend
