Does your cat prefer to stay at home when you go on holiday? Do they find the cattery or staying in a strange house too stressful? Well if so, my 'Home Care for Cats' service could be just what your cat needs.

I am an experienced cat carer having worked at Pineview Cattery whilst at Otago University. The cattery was MAF registered and we followed strict protocols in terms of animal hygiene and health. During the extremely busy Christmas Period, we also offered a Your Cat at Home service where we would feed the pets of regular customers or customers whose cats would be stressed out with the larger number of cats at the cattery.

The service I offer is a visit to your furry friends once or twice a day. I will spend time with them to make sure they have eaten and to watch them walk around to check their physical condition - that is if they preferred not to be handled. If they are cuddly cats, I will do the same checks but while giving puss some cuddles. I am also happy to brush your cats if they like it - and I grow my own catnip so if you are not adverse to that, I would bring them a wee treat once a day. If I am making 2 visits a day to your pets, the morning visit would be shorter with your pet receiving their food and a quick cuddle/check that they are OK, then the longer visit in the evening.
