Available for House sitting/Dog walking in Selwyn (ideally West Melton, Kirwee or Darfield areas as I am based in Kirwee)

After recently loosing my 1 year old pup to bone cancer, I would love to the opportunity to hang out with your pets for lots of playing, love and cuddles.

Dog walking:

I have an older dog, Archie, but he is starting to slow down with age and can't handle so many walks these days. It would be great to be able to get out and about with some other local dogs instead. I have a few favourite local spots for walks (the waimak river, and some surrounding forest). Currently due to work commitments I can only offer this in the weekends.

House/pet sitting:

If you are heading away on holiday I would be happy to stay at your place and look after your pets/place. I have a house of my own in Kirwee, but I love house sitting as it's feels almost like a mini holiday to be staying somewhere different! I also know how hard it can be to go on holiday without your pets when boarding kennels aren't an option. As someone who has had experience with reactive dogs in the past, kennels were never an option so I really value pet sitting. Rest assured you will get lots of updates and pictures if you wish to give you peace of mind while you are away.

My older dog Archie won't need to come with me as he can stay with my partner or parents.

I have worked with dog behaviourists in the past with reactive dogs and rescue dogs who needed a little of guidance, so I have developed a decent understanding of dog handling/ body language. If you have a reactive dog I would be happy to arrange a meeting or two to get to know your dog and for them to get to know and trust me too. I also (unfortunately) have experience in giving oral medications to dogs from having a terminally ill pet.
