About Teana
Kia ora! My name is Teana Whaanga and I live in Ashhurst in the beautiful Manawatū.
Aside from having dogs around me my entire life I began study through UCOL in Animal Care in 2019. Since then I spent years working as a dog walker and a kennel hand. I have volunteered at the SPCA and HUHA.
My favourite part of everyday is taking my dog for a walk and I hope I can help others out by doing it for them too. I have much experience walking dogs of all breeds and sizes and especially different behaviours. I understand how much mental stimulation and exercise in a good walk can help your dog and set a great routine.
We are surrounded by some of the best walks in the Manawatū from rivers to the bush and everything in between. Until I found the right routine and distance to walk my dog I saw the stress this could cause others so my aim is to help when life gets busy.
