I am born and breed kiwi, who has loved animals my entire life. As a young child we always had a dog, and/or a cat, rabbits, fish and at one stage I even had pet mice.

In 2021 my husband and I got our very first dog, after 8 years we were finally ready for the commitment to our first fur baby, his name is Maverick (Mav for short), and he was born on valentines day 2021.

He is our little buddy and couldn't imagine a life without him, he comes everywhere with us. Cafes, pubs, he loves a great walk, and even though he is crate trained from 10pm- 5am every morning he can be found snuggling in our bed.

In Mavs world the hierarchy of things most important to him are: food, other dogs, all people, sticks, snuggles, the tennis ball, off lead walks. He is such a social dog! We made sure as a very young pup that he spent time with as many different dogs as possible. He has also spent time with cats, sheep and mostly recently met his first horse.

At some stage in the near future we would love to adopt Mav a little sister or brother. However in the meantime, as freshly new homeowners paying off our mortgage we thought we would start by pet sitting other people's furr babies while they are holidaying in our gorgous town.

We know how important a good pet sitter is, and how hard they are to come by in Queenstown. We will treat your dog as if he/she is our own, they will be well loved with lots of cuddles and playtime, adventure walks, sleeping on the furniture etc. We are happy to follow their routine and to update you with those all important daily pictures.

In our day job we manage a local boutique hotel, where we normally cater to humans overnight stays, so we figure doggo overnight stays will be a breeze in comparison. My days off are Saturday and Sunday and my husband's are Sunday, Monday. So we will only take your loved one on days we are off to provide them with the attention they deserve.

We live in a small 110m2 apartment with a small backyard and body corporate rules state we are only allowed 2 pets at anyone time so we are only able to take 1 border at a time. Living in Queenstown we have so many amazing walking tracks to entertain your pup. Weather it's walking the arrow river, off to bobs cove, kelvin heights walking track, or going straight out our front door down to the shotover river. Our days off usually consist of lots of snuggles, treats and training, walks, lunch at the local dog friendly Cafe or dinner at the dog friendly pub, and more snuggles and downtime.

We will provide you with updates of your fur baby during their stay to keep your mind at ease, and will follow all dietries/routines. Any questions please ask away.
